Tajeshwar Singh earned his Doctorate degree in Electronics from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim. He holds Master of Science degree in Sensor Systems Technology from University of Applied Sciences, Karlsruhe (Germany) and Bachelor of Technology degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from National Institute of Technology (erstwhile Regional Engineering College), Jalandhar (India)
He has very diverse experience in various technological areas such as sensors, measurements, circuit design, signal processing, microelectronics, nanotechnology, medical electronics, instrumentation, power and electrical systems. He has 14 years’ research experience in market-defining technologies and thorough understanding of industries such as consumer electronics, IC manufacturing, power production and oil/gas sector. Analog sensor interface circuits developed by him for capacitive touchscreens have won sockets in several leading flagship mobile phones, tablets and ultrabooks, each running in volumes of several hundreds of million pieces.
Tajeshwar is the recipient of the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst) prize for the year 2002 at University of Applied Sciences, Karlsruhe, Germany.
