Espen Hov is a graduate engineer in physical metallurgy from the Norwegian Institute of Technology in 1987.
Espen manages cases across a broad spectrum of technical disciplines, and has many years of experience working with cases in petroleum technology, materials technology, mechanics, mechatronics, physics and inorganic chemistry.
Espen assists Norwegian companies with analyses and consulting work in relation to patents, including investigating and preparing, managing, monitoring and following up patent applications. He also provides assistance with enforcing rights, including situation mapping, strategic consulting and assisting with conflict situations, and he is particularly interested in finding solutions to potential conflict situations.
Espen has experience as an independent inventor, and has also worked in engineering, operations and technology development within subsea technology, materials technology and situation control for the petroleum industry and onshore industries for about nine years prior to becoming a professional patent consultant.
