Bjarne G. Coward studied mechanical engineering at Telemark University College and holds a Master's degree in physical chemistry/petrochemistry from the University of Oslo.

He has more than 20 years' experience as a patent attorney and has prepared several hundred patent applications in a variety of technical fields such as mechanics, cleaning technology, process chemistry and processing equipment.

Bjarne has carried out a number of IP Due Diligence assignments, particularly in connection with acquisitions/disposals of businesses where IP rights were a key element. He also assists clients in relation to conflicts and legal proceedings, as well as providing consulting services and preparing patent strategies.

In addition to being a patent engineer, Bjarne is a current and past board member of both Norwegian and foreign firms.
